Challenge
Often times we act before we take time to consult God in what we are doing. Discuss/Describe how you might slow down this week to take time to put your decisions before God prior to taking action. Re-read Jeremiah 33:3 and consider an area of personal drama that might be reduced if you seek God first.
Prayer
Dear Lord, Please grant me the presence of mind to slow down and seek your will and wisdom as I take action in my life. Proverbs 14:29 advises us that “He who is slow to wrath has great understanding…” Prompt me to consider your word and character in every action that I take and every decision that I make; In Jesus' name, Amen.
