Discuss/Describe the trash in your life that you need to give God. To go deeper, ask a mentor or close friend to reveal to you the trash in your life that you don’t see.
Prayer
Lord, help me understand Romans 5:3-5, which says, "we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us." God, please recycle my life — build my character from my junk to Your glory. In Jesus name, Amen.
