Discuss/Describe one insecurity that causes you to try to fit in with the world and not live as the original individual God created you to be.
Prayer
Dear Lord, I am so glad that you chose to call regular people like me — people who might not be much in the eyes of the world — to do extraordinary things for You. Just as 1 Corinthians 1:26-29 teaches, “God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things, and the things that are not to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him. . . . Therefore, as it is written: ‘Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord’.” Help me remember today that you get all the credit and if I boast about anything it will be about how good you are to me. In Jesus name, Amen.
